Microsoft releases Windows Desktop Search 3.01, a minor update to Windows Desktop Search 3.0 for Windows XP (32-bit and 64-bit) and Windows Server 2003 (32-bit and 64-bit). The update are including:

• Support for indexing UNC files
• Additional support for enterprise deployment
• Stability improvements
• Search engine added support to Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 and OneNote 2007

Windows user has no need to install this update since the WDS component is already included in Vista.
